Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Disorder with Rupture Disc and Radiculopathy

 Surgery: Microdiscectomy, left L5/S1 Posterior-lateral fixation with Dynesys system, L5/S1 on 10/2014Mr. Chen is the founder and CEO in one of U.S. company specializing in the manufacturing of application delivery controllers (software and hardware). Mr. Chen suffered from lower back pain from left sacrum to lower leg area associated with numbness off and on for month and deteriorated days ago. He has ever tried pain control but doesn’t work. While he do business trip in Asia, His condition got worse, therefore, he came to JJOH to see Dr Gao who is also the dean of Spine Durgery Department for treatment. After MRI and medical consultation, Dr. Gao suggests him for surgical intervention. Mr. Chen stayed in JJOH for a week and able to back to USA with back support. Mr. Chen is happy with the result. He denies pain in lower back and any discomfort in daily activity. He currently is back to work with back support and follow up with his primary doctor in USA.
