Minimally Invasive Total Knee Replacement Surgery of a Hong Kong Patient

At the age of British governance, the first generation of Hong Kong people received Chinese education in Taiwan, but the salary of being a teacher was exploited and not fairly the same as t some other teachers.

The second generation of Huang family in Taiwan had high education in graduated school. Working as senior engineers, the Wong family do not feel strange to frequently travel to China. Their next heritage can also master literature and mechanics theory, exceptionally outstanding.

The Huang family has deep relationship with Taiwan culture. Mrs. Huang is a traditional and gentle Chinese woman. She suffered from knee degenerative problem for years. All the activities linked to right leg movement would cause her knee pain. With deep trust to Superintendent Dr. Ming-Fang Wu, the Wong family decided to arrange surgery for granny.

Grandma did not adapt to the anesthesia medication and the first night post surgery was quite tough. Yet a day later CPM machine was available to promote Mrs. Huang’s rehabilitation exercises.  She was discharged a week later, was recovered gradually and grateful to Dr. Ming-Fang Wu’s successful knee operation and treatment.
