Magic Christmas Ward- Clavicle Fracture Canadian Patient

“Christmas is the only festival that I care.” On the wall of the ward a Canadian was busy at decorating with little deer image, Christmas tree and golden color calligraphy of “Merry Christmas.” He came to Taiwan nearly two decades. He grinned and claimed that he is almost a Taiwanese. He owes a restaurant in Cinjin District. Kitchen is his working paradise where his magic creates his taste of food and his unique cooking art.  

Gareth speaks like a Kaohsiung gentleman and like the locals, is hard to reject motorcycle riding. He had a car accident and was sent to hospital. Later he was a usual visitor to clinic room but his severe pain haunted him, felt suffocated.

His restaurant friend introduce Jhong Jheng Spine & Orthopedic Hospital to him. After doctor’s careful examination and found his pain cause due to clavicle fracture. He was thoroughly released after surgery and cheerfully said that doctor and nurses were his angels. He hummed Christmas carols and decorated his ward with some of Christmas icons. His happy recovery experience brought the wonderful spirit of Christmas to JJOH.
