Cervical Disc Replacement (CDR)

Professor Pan worked in Xiamen University for many years and in recent years he found that his leg was lack of strength and walked unstably. Plus, a numb feeling at his thumb and his waist to feet was at his right side kept troubling him. The Dean of Medical Department of Xiamen University recommended Professor Pan to visit Dr. Cheng-Hsing Kao in Jhong Jheng Spine and Orthopedic Hospital in Taiwan. After medical consultation with Dr. Kao, Professor Pan decided to have surgery. Our staff in JJOH designed the medical trip details for the patient, such as accommodation, transportation plans and admission arrangements. Mr. Pan was impressed with the professional medical project organized by JJOH team and came to JJOH pleasantly without any tense feeling before operation. After arriving Taiwan, Professor Pan and his family visited Fo Guang Shan for Buddhism adoration and spent about two days in tourist spots of Kaohsiung. The operation was successful and Professor Pan was discharge to his home trip according to the medical team anticipation. The patient wore his collar and in his full appreciation to Dr. Kao at his leaving moment from JJOH.
